I’m reassembling my 661 because gravity crushed it I just realized I didn’t order the 2 locating sleeves for mating the case halves. Are they reusable? If so, how do I remove them without damaging them? I will probably order new ones and wait to finish putting it back together. Unless one of you guys has the expertise to tell me what to do! TIA

Locating dowels are usually replaceable if lost or damaged. They're just a precision fit to the holes. Worry more about preserving the holes than the dowels. In a pinch you can file and polish burrs off the old dowels but out of round is no bueno. such as plier yanking out deformation

If it wont come out fairly easily, try finding a solid dowel that will fit inside of the alignment sleeve snuggly. This should prevent deforming the shape of the sleeve if gripped with pliers.
