Pulling eye

I have a simple idea to put a pulling eye on the end of your ropes.
Secure a length of whipping twine to a fishing swivel and sink it down through the core of the rope bringing it out through the cover and whipping the end of the rope back up to the swivel.
One eye of the swivel is buried in the rope and the other is exposed for securing a throwing line.

I used to work on a Ropes (Challenge) Course in Maine. For most of our lines, there was a small srew-eye set in the end of the line. The end of the line was melted then the screw eye was heated, then the hot screw was put in the end of the rope and held until it cooled. It worked nicely and I've often thought of doing it to my climbing lines!

Someone should give it a try and let me know how it goes.
