Taylor do you know what prices might be on those two fine looking items

Sorry Sam, not sure of the pricing. Most likely... affordable!

I got to check out the pulleySAVER first hand and I CANT WAIT till it arives for purchase !! IMO it is by far the best design out there so far. I still cant understand why ART would make the new Ropeguide 2010 with a ring on the end of it? No matter what its just another thing to get stuck ! The pulleySAVER has truly covered all angles on this one. I'm sure when this thing hits the market EVERYONE will have one!

I think he's talking about the knut at the other end of the flip line. So you can clip the beaber into that and you have a sort of SRT flip line.

I've done this trick a few times, but never found it that helpful. I took off the prusik I put on my flip line for this trick.

I really like the looks of the pulleysaver, gonna have to get my hands on that! But the lanyard isnt my style. I like a rope snap at the end for more weight to toss around. Both look well thought out!

The good news is it looks like these two items will be available in the US. They have not been released yet by Teufelberger and the US distributor, NER, is monitoring the release.

As usual there is no word on pricing or date.

No sure things in life, but that is mostly good news...

Good enough for me!

Hey Taylor, I like the looks of the Celanyard and the clever design behind it. With the addition of the new Ocean Vectran line with stainless steel thimble, this will really make a nice additional mounting point.

Will you also be able to use this prussic line and thimble to create a 2:1 Lanyard? I didn’t see anything listed for this in the literature, but I would think that it would be possible.

One other question that I have is, when you are using the lanyard and connecting directly to your center attachment point, does the carabiner connect directly to the becket below the sheave on the Pinto Pulley?

I can see where there will also be a nice feature if you are using a Hitchclimber Pulley with your DdRT, you will be able to use the third hole in it to attach the Pinto Pulley. This will give you only one streamline connection to your center attachment point, which is a nice feature.

Yes, it's a bit difficult to see clearly, but in the info sheet there is a configuration where the Shadow carabiner is connected to the becket of the PINTO. This allows you to attach the entire lanyard to the center hole of a Hitchclimber or center point on your bridge with the Ultra O.

By 2:1 do you mean creating a haul-back system when using the lanyard in single leg configuration (a dirty RADS)? Yes, you can do this with the OV prusik.

Well that's something that I hadn't even thought of, but good to know.

Sorry, what I actually meant was using it as a 2-in-1 lanyard with the OV prusik connected on one side d-ring and the Pinto Pulley connected on the other side d-ring. When you come to a branch that you need to climb above, instead of using your climb line, just use the tail of the lanyard with the biner on it on the side of the OV prusik, through it over the limb, clip in on the other side and disconnect the Pinto.
