One of the newest ‘mini-bollards’ to just come out on the market is the new Pro Climb EASY RIG, Tree Rigging/Fixed Bollard designed by New Zealander, Rossy Ross from rigging specialists Pro Climb.
Customers are not happy when they see large sections of limbs just cut and chucked onto their newly manicured lawns, and rightly so.
The Stein and Pro climb fixed bollards are usually to big for most small domestic applications (though Reg’s RC1000 is great for smaller loads) and a lot of tree workers find the Port-A-Wrap a little too fussy for their likening to install on their smaller jobs.
Rossy Ross, who is a Master Rigging specialist from Pro Climb, set out to fix this problem and develop a lowering bollard to cater specifically to this smaller market. As Rossy has noted, the objective was to build a fixed bollard that was small, lightweight, quick and easy to install, but inexpensive to buy.
Boy has he succeeded. The minute that I heard about this new rigging device, I contacted Rossy to be sure and order one of the first ones. Following a thorough system of testing, the New Easy Rig fixed bollards were launched at this past weekend’s ITCC in Portland.
So, here it is, check it out!
