Post Lunch Lethargy Syndrome?

Found excellent breakfast meal and I dont get hungry til noon

2/3 BANANAS
CUP of OATS
LARGE GLASS of MILK

Blend all this in a blender then drink cold
Tastes delicious!
I reckon the oats swell up in the stomach so you dont get hungry.

Yeah the oats help but it is the milk that coats the stomach lining that gives you the full feeling. I have used this recipe and others from health fitness reports. I have a 20 min lunch along with the others for some odd reason I feel to heavy if I sit around to long.

If it's whole milk, it's all that FAT that's filling you up.

As Arnold said, "Milk is for babies."

Drink 1% or skim!

even skim milk has a tendency to make you feel fuller longer, something to do with stuff in dairy, yogurt or otherwise will do the same. i normally have non-fat yogurt in my lunch and/or breakfast, keeps me fuller longer and doesnt leave me feeling lathargic or weighted down

OK! I've found a NEW SUPERFOOD, but before I tell you what it is anyone who eats from McDs, BK, Wendy's, Papa Johns, Pizzahut, Domino's, kentuck fried etc. please do not read on as you may find what i am about to say EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE!

Brown Rice boiled in 2 sachets of Japanese miso soup with spoonful veg boullion/stock cube and a spoonful of peanut butter

Reduce it all down so the rice goes soft.

Leave it to cool down - take to work the next day
Have it for lunch and you will be like Popeye after his cans of spinach - Ready to kick Bluto's [censored]!

It is delicious, and nutritious - i'm not kidding!

I aint a vegitarian either I love steak and cheese sandwiches. But this stuff is good!

Failing that just take Guiness in a Flask!

So you mix the peanut butter right in there with the rice?

Mark, Yeah, near the end of the boiling when the water is starting to dissappear mix some in, depends how much you like P butter, the crunchy stuff is best. Makes it taste like Satay.
Let it all reduce down, you could add onions and a little soy sauce as well.

Alves, Try corn tortillas, better for digestion.
