Positioner as redirect-sperate thread

After seeing the diagram that Hillbilly made of the Positioner redirect in the "More encouragement please?" thread, I thought of
an addition. By using one of Ushba's double sheave pulleys http://www.ushba.com/catalog/access.html#pulleys the friction is
reduced. Without the middle cheek plate that other manufacturers use,, the Ushba lets the rope run nice and smooth.

Good one Tom!
I know of only one other way to have a frictionless
redirect. The setup described by X-man a while ago.
This is much safer, in my humble opinion, as X-man's
setup included a remotely releasable snap shackle.
Any others ?

Or how about rated stainless steel shackles with no snag bolts?
Or square maillon rapides ?

I wouldn't mind selling some of these Titanium pulleys, any chance they have a CE mark? ( Oh no, not that again!!!!) If they're sold in Germany?

Positioner as redirect, M-setup

Here is another one.
I believe this idea origins from Mark Chisholm.
I've tried it a few times with a hitch adjusted lanyard,
after reading about it here at treebuzz.
To retrieve, disconnect the carabiner at the end of
your climbing line, put an overhand knot on it and pull
it through. It looks kinda messy but you only need
one extra carabiner and one or two micro pulleys.
