Poison ivy remedy

I read that, Ben. Gotta say I've never really had to do that cuz it worked so well to begin with.

Just an FYI here: Oral Ivy or not, if you let a fresh cut vine ( dripping sap ) touch you you WILL receive a chemical burn. The cool thing is if you're on OI it won't itch.

Luckily, here in Minnesota we don't have poison ivy vines.

And the little bit of rash I did get was on a day that I hadn't taken my dose.

Idon't like Poison Ivy.

Go to your local drug store and ask the pharmacist for an external itching medication.
Benzocaine with atleast 5% content will allow him to sleep comfortabley.
You will find Benzocaine in Sun burn solution, Itching medications solutions and others.
Works Well!

That is what i got oral ivy an burtbees soap an poison ivy lotion to put on before you go in it... i get it bad real bad i have had poison ivy for 49 days now yea i couldt believe it either i have never caught it that early before... but if you have it take 10 drops in 2oz of waterevery 2 hours till it clears then drop down i feel my water bottle with it every mournin... cheapest i found it was amazon hope u get rid of it im just startin to...

So the plant that helps with poison ivy that Boston Bull was refering too is Jewelweed. I attached a picture of it. I've never tried it but I've always heard its good stuff. Some people crush it up and put it in ice cubes to rub on poison ivy rash.

We use a very cheap product bought at our local pharmacy and we can use it as a preventative and a cure. It is rhus Toxicodendron in pellet form taken orally. I personally have seen my son use this and clear his poison ivy many times in a very short time. If caught when the first bubbles appear, it stops it in its tracks. We have also provided it when working in poison ivy ares to our crew and not one of the 4 man crew was affected. The cost is about $7 a vial. I have recommended this to so many people that at times I have to wait because the pharmacy is sold out.
