Pneumatic Launching Systems

You can pretty easily make a gas throwball launcher from a paintball grenade launcher. A friend has one that's dead on accurate to about 80'.
You just buy the launcher and modify a 10oz throwball with tape to fit.

Guy maybe try putting a "pull and hold" w/trigger release on your bigshot, you can push it down with your good arm.

nice video! I saw a setup very similar to that, except they had it prussiked at the bottom instead of bolted and it looked a lot neater, at the Portland RTCC 2 weekends ago.

I use an archery release that is attached via prussic to the main pole of my Sidewinder and slide it down (to add more tension). Works great and I can aim instead of struggling holding the band back.

Guy here is a video of a Big Shot system demonstrated by Dr. John Gathright if you were not aware of the configuration Moss mentioned. With a little effort you could locate an appropriate quick release and imitate this setup. Good luck with your recovery!

Neat video and neat thread. Who says a picture is only worth a thousand words?

Those neumatic launcher nerds need to get onboard with the cube while they are being real intelligent and stuff.
