I bought 600 foot spool from gap arborist supply in 2021, maybe end of 2020, i think When was that I can't remember exactly year? When was that change made cause this hank doesn't feel bouncy to me , i dont believe it has nylon core but im curious , What's the rating they were looking to achieve?.. For dielectric reasoning? A polycover and core version available anywhere in the world these days?
If you see a yellow tracer it is the nylon core created for UK market.

I spoke to the arborist guy at Yale last year, and he said there are no pink color poly/poly 11.7 being made at that time. The new pink 11.7 nylon core was made to meet the euro regulations, and has a single tracer like island arb said

I climb on 11mm htp pretty exclusively over never had issues with knots ability or anything like that I did have to milk like 3 ft of cover off a couple of my 200' lengths because it was letting my rrp kind slide down a few feet when I was dropping down and coming to a stop.

I climb with the maxi flip sport steel core flip lines they're thin and pretty light, I don't do line clearance so while I agree focusing on proper technique and safety is most important I'm not losing anything by using steel core incase I go full retard, your saw can still cut it pretty quickly but it's not going to feel right when you hit it. I like the version west tech rigging supply sells aluminum snap no swivels spliced not just crimped so there should be almost no chance of a rapid crimp failure without warning.
