Far Hills, NJ Tree Expert and Landscape Contractor is currently searching for a Plant Health Care/Lawn Care Technician. Our Plant Health Care/Lawn Care Program is growing and we are looking for the right candidate to help us reach and push beyond the next level. Come here for a career, not just a job. Our technician will perform all functions of Plant Health Care including inspection/monitoring, spraying, fertilization, soil injections, trunk injections, sampling, air spade work, pesticide inventory, record keeping, minor equipment maintenance, clean-up/maintenance of pesticide storage area, and customer relations.
*Passion for trees, shrubs, lawn and the outdoors is helpful
*Good tree and shrub identification skills
*Knowledge of plant and lawn disease
*Certified Pesticide Applicator License is preferred, or candidate must obtain NJ Cert. Pest. Applicator License within one year of hire date
*Seeding and new lawn services
*Soil analysis and aeration
*Weed control, insect control and grub management
*Custom blend fertilization and lime application
*Lawn disease treatment
Full time year round work. Brand new multi-tank IPM rig. Between tree work and snow plowing we were able to work all winter long in spite of the bad weather.
