Pics, What does your yard look like? And your fleet!

im looking to switch yards because we just added two new trucks and we are tight on space. What do your yards look like and what trucks do you have....trying to get ideas. I'll post mine Monday morning.

Yea, we only a 9man crew usually two crews, but we have 3 buckets 2chip trucks and two old Chevy chip trucks, a trailer with a dingo and a bandit stump grinder, this is all in a big back yard of a house...

It's too small, right now our mulch yard is full and we are stacking logs wherever they will fit!uploadfromtaptalk1454105692232.webp that's our firewood stack there's about two or three times that piled for the grinder

Oh and we are only a 2 crew company, haha.

So nice to have everything inside. One day I hope to have that. Question on ur trailer you only got one binder in front n back. In ny, dot states you gotta have 1 per each corner n one on the attachment part. Cheaper to talk about on buzz then deal with those clowns

In ny, dot states you gotta have...
In all the states I've lived in/worked in, it totally depends on which DOT officer you get: Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde? Mr. Reasonable or Captain Dickhead? Getting 1 straight answer out of them, even if it's only verbal and not in writing, is virtually impossible.
The way I was taught to chain things down is if you could pick the trailer up, flip it over and nothing falls off, then you're good. What Baumeister has there would meet that requirement, other than the plywood. But you're right - some pinheads want a chain across the basket. And how having a separate binder on each corner adds safety is completely beyond me.

I hear ya, to people that spend a lot of money on maintance and appearance it's sad to how dot treats the working man. Btw I forgot new ticket I received was not having properly tagged WLL. And capacities on the chains. Sometimes I feel they make up the laws as they go and we just don't know

Best pic I can find on my phone. The highlight in this pic was the rope drying rack.

60x40. Thanks for the tie down input. I am fortunate to not have had issues. I think it helps to keep my equipment clean and neat. Seems others have problems in my area, but their equipment is dirty and beat up. I do have a tie down on the basket also. It is loose in the picture.
