Photos of You and Impressive Trees

Quinault I think is in Olympic Park, the rainforest west of Seattle. Amazing place; the trees are amazing grace.

Sweet looking burls on those buttresses.

It's Lake Quinault, WA, just barely outside Olympic Nat Park. Here's the same tree a few yards back. There's a nice little lodge nearby.

There was a trail right across the street, with trees down everywhere from a storm a few years back. Someone had been clearing the trail, and left rounds like these all over. Look how pretty the yellow wood is.

The last pic was taken inside the Park. I don't know what kind of tree it is.

And this is an Eastern white pine back home in 'Sconsin. My favorite tree.

The Eastern white pine in general is your favorite tree, or that particular pine in the photo?

That particular tree. It's up in Northern Wisconsin where I built a cabin and it's volume is extraordinary.

Eastern whites are also one of my favorite trees.. I like exploring the forests looking for giants and climbing them. They are my midwest redwoods.
