Pfanner Gladiator pants

im currently in the market for the pfanner chainsaw pants but im having difficulties finding my size.

apparently they have pants that go up to a 31 waist, then the next size up is 34. i am a 32. i tried the 34....way too big, I tried on the 31...way too small

is there another distributor in the US other than sherrill that has the goods im looking for? any help is appreciated

I have the same problem. It depends on the pants. Sometimes 31 works for me and 34 is too big, 32 is just right. If you find some and want to spread the wealth, send them my way. Then again, if you find several pairs and want to split the cost, lets do it!!!

I've heard the ones from overseas are superior to the US versions. Difference in the grade of the exterior fabric (so I've been told).

I have the Gladiators from Austria, so I know they're better than anything Marc could ever get his hands on.

Whatever size Pfanners you get, go towards the small size. The ladies will thank you!

Derrick, they aren't nearly as expensive as Sherrill sells them. They fall in the 200 range not including shipping.

As for the "small" sizing, I will gladly take that tip.

I just hope that I can find a pfanner "driving sock"overseas as well.

I just talked to the guy today.

For two pairs of stretch air gladiator pants and a treemotion saddle the shipping came out to 80euro or 125 americano.

Total purchase plus shipping is 960

Nothing like those real Pfanner's from Europe! The fit is different than what is available here in the states. I have both models in climbing and chainsaw pro I prefer the euro models.

Which pants are you looking at. There are different types

Pfanner stretch air type A chainsaw pants.

I have no idea what the difference is between the type A and type C pants so I'm going with my usual stand by that my dad taught me

"when in doubt, buy the expensive one, at least then it will have a higher resale value"

Dad isn't known for his bargain shopping. He still has a members only jacket that he spent over 80 bucks on back when I was a kid. Not much of a resale value on that baby even though it is bad a$$

If you are climbing you will want the Cs. The kevlar is only in the front of the pants and completely around the ankles. The As go all around and arent very comfy for climbing, they are meant for groundwork.

Mark,I just read my post and have an awful feeling it might be the other way around. As for climbing and cs heavier..I can't remember anymore I bought those pants last year and I knew at the time but not anymore.
