Petzl Vizir

The kask helmet/visor set up is the bomb, IMO. I really like mine just I want to get a second set up for the summer. Hi-viz white with the tinted, not smoke the darker one, visor and those low profile peltor white muffs. I got my current (black) set up in December and guess I thought it would never get warm again. Back to the visor topic the protection is good for me.

I fitted a 6 yr old Vertex best with a vizir by carefully lining up the holes to drill and cutting about 50-60% of the screw threads off (very carefully). It works great and I've been using it daily for about a year. Just got a new Vertex Vent with a vizir. The only thing I don't like is some sort of a film on the inside that my sweat eats through but once I got it all off, it works fine.
