Petzl Sequoia 2019 sizing

Wondering if anyone here is rocking this saddle and could offer insight. I'm a 33-34 waist, which falls right in the size 1 range, but I'm worried how the fit would be over top of saw pants or bulkier clothing in the cold months.

I wear the older Sequoia, and have the same size waist. I opted to go with the larger size, to have more room for the winter and because it’s actually more comfortable. The straps between the leg pads and waist belt are longer on the larger size, which makes it more comfortable for certain parts that don’t like to be squished.

I am the same waist. When I get in on Monday I will grab one (non SRT I assume right?) and give it a try. I can let you know how much room there may be. In Wisconsin we dress for the coldest of cold. I'll know if it would work for winter bulk layers here.

Haha! They definitely have a lot of cushion to take some what of a blow. They don't have straps though to keep it on your head.

Tried it on. I think you are going to prefer a size 2. It's pretty tight.
