Since the Exo has a pre-loaded rope and a captured biner holding the swing plates it would be a bit clumsy to use since it couldn't be set in the middle of the rope.

Worth looking at though...

It looks like a great idea. I can't find any mention of what length rope they are using. Here is a link that tells why they are developing it:

Scaled down grillion for the small rope.

I like the little fair lead that keeps the rope coming out of the device at the right angle.

I think people should have some version of something like this in their bucket trucks...
