Pantin positioning?

I am one of the apparently lucky tall and lanky guys. No problems with it kicking off, very rare. I have found that by doing an exaggerated circular motion with my foot, kicking the foot forward and up, keeping the panting aligned with the rope, while bringing my knee up at the same time allows the panting to work smoothly and have a solid bite, even with only a couple feet of rope underneath. Not sure if that explanation is clear, but works very well! Good luck!
