Outdoor wood boiler

Geothermal is great for regions that don't experience super cold winters. But it's expensive to install and tied to the cost of electricity to run the pumps. If electricity rates get too high, it becomes prohibitive.

For anyone that's on the buzz, heating with firewood is going to be the cheapest. The key is to burn it efficiently in a gassification boiler. Outdoor boilers are inefficient polluters. I'm assuming that most arborists have access to firewood. Not necessarily true that they want to ever see it after work hours though!

I am working on this very idea. of wood chips, there is potential. btw froling is one really great boiler. I would highly recommend it or a few other gassifiers. way cleaner, way more efficient.

out door units are a good way to get rid of a bunch of junk if you don't care about efficiency or emissions.

Treehive: heating with wood chips will totally change your business and eventually the whole tree care industry. But be careful, getting the fuel just right is more challenging than you may think. I'm happy to help in your project.
