Original Rope Wrench Tether Help

Just picked up the original rope wrench and need to know what tether I should use. I see in the new model everyone uses a real stiff one. Is that not recommended for the original? Any advice would be great cause Treestuff has a sale ending at midnight on the FIX stuff tehter. Also what’s the recommended length?

I'm pretty sure u can use a stiff tether with the zk-1.. however the ones I've seen are look longer than the zk-2 stiff tether.. I'm not a wrench user so i don't really have anything else to add... just what i mentioned above.

Yes a stiffy is the way to go. Throw a few rubber bands or castration bands so it can’t flop down. Only thing to watch for us the bolt on the zk1 is pretty damn thick, might need to force a stiffy on
