That sounds like some great stuff and may make this a real deal. It will probably drive the price all the way up $4.50 though.

I was thinking this was probably more suited to a field type back up kit where you could have a 15' length of webbing to make a Field Harness as outlined on page 100 of On Rope, combined with a few feet of Tenex and you have a workable climbing system but with this Yale Vectrus it may be more than that.
.........but I'm still not going to give up my two Rope Wrenches, Unicender, Rig and desire to buy and try the Hitch Hiker!
Interesting thought about innovation as well. This would never be a plausible commercial item because by the time you spend thousands of dollars to test and certify it, patent it etc and then market it and then sell it for 195.00, anyone would be able to spend 2 bucks and duplicate it.
