afterwards Nick and I went to feed the chickadees and we were suprised by this bold woodpecker. We will try to do this again when it gets warmer. Hopefully more people will show up.

It sure must be nice to only have to take as much weight up the rope as Nick does

I have taken Nick out a few times now. He is really keen and tied a MT 20 mins after watching me tie it! The first time I set a system to assist him into the tree. The second time out he was remarking about how much harder it was with me not helping him. I told him the first time I took him tree climbing and from now on I was teaching him to become a tree climber. It was going to be more work but more satisfaction. He is always asking me when the next outing will be.
