Novel tree service claims

I was down in Terre Haute yesterday afternoon and saw a bucket truck pull into a large parking lot, followed by a one ton flatbed loaded with chunks and sporting a chipper at the tail and a snow plow on the front. As I was sitting at the light I noticed they were heading to the corner of the lot right next to me. I did a triple take and am quite positive the bucket truck lettering said

A-1 Tree Service
Licensed, Boned, & Insured

The truck looked to be clean and in good shape, and the lettering otherwise appeared to be of high quality. Must be a new classification?

Indiana? What town do you live in? I lived in Bloomington for a little over eight years.

Snow plow in May, with a chipper and a bucket; sounds like things I've seen before in Indiana.

Mid-southern Montgomery county.

Funny thing is where I grew up, "Polacks" were the brunt of the jokes. Down here, the same jokes are told against Kentuckians.

Go figure. For some reason I was thinking about that recently...

I love this part of the world. It's got good seasons and for at least one more year they don't mess with the clocks in the spring and fall.

I really like the city of Bloomington as far as cities go. Here I'm just a few minutes away from Pine Hills nature preserve, Shades and Turkey Run state parks, and a bunch of nice other stuff. I don't care if there are or aren't mountains on the horizon if I can't even see the horizon because of the hardwoods! (though it does get a bit too flat for my taste a little north of me)

8 years, huh? Couldn't decide on your major?
