These are a bit old but maybe they will help someone. This tree had a slight back lean toward the house. It was dead. No ropes were used. I am wearing earplugs. Broke my muffs the day before. Yes, my chinstrap should be buckled. I have since fixed that bad habit. Sorry there is no editing or good music, but who doesn't love the sound of a 372?

PPE couple hundred, chainsaw a thousand, longer handle on the hammer priceless. I know the technique works but you need more hammering power. That little thing is an accident waiting to happen.

Yeah, that hammer was horrible. it was replaced eventually. Video was shot when I was working as an arborist for the city. Getting new gear was a time consuming process.

I love the bore cut for felling though. I use it almost every time.

Hey Grais, Did you notice I changed the title? Thanks for all the positive comments on the you tube site. The point of the videos is to show the method. That is all. And maybe the bad resolution is to blame, but my cuts were pretty damn close to matching.
