Non Protective climbing pants

Biggest problem I have with arborwear is that NOTHING IS EVER THE SAME.

I own 4 pairs of ascender pants and not one pair fits like the other. I just got a new pair of tech2 pants sent to my house at my size....too small yet the other pants at a 32" waist are loose enough that I need a belt.

They need better manufacturers. The ideas are there but the end result isn't.

I couldn't agree more familytree, I only have one pair of the ascenders 30x32 and the waist is HUGE on me. SIPS, pfanners, and francital all are a better fit for me. Seeing as I was so disappointed with arborwear I quit with one pair while I was ahead, so I can't quite attest to their variation. My current favorite is the pfanner arborist chainsaw pants. (I'm really trying to be more safety conscious)

I want to rant about available inseam length too. I live with way too much in the way of saw chips in my boots. I need a 38" by the time the saddle is on and my legs are bent. Most 36" pants fit me fine for walking around, but not for real life tree work situations. I can't be the ONLY guy with this issue, and there should be enough demand for longer inseams that the Arborwear cookie cutter profile could be expanded a little bit. Just got some new pants and all I have to do is find a similar fabric and go to the tailor. Whatever. Deaf ears.
