Interesting article about existing wound treatments.
Reecent info on comparmentalization suggests wound exposure is key for initiation.

Products bein sold today suggest they have overcome this concern with a subsstance that allows air movement. Enough air? They say so.

What do you all make of it?

Just thinking out loud.
In nurseries grafting wax is used to seal the wounds/union of parent mtl and scion.
So it would make sense to skip the application to the wood and apply only to the live tissue wounded.

Again depends on sps, desired effect, pathogens present and enviro.

Is that reasonable practice considering the common practice with plant propogators?
