New Toro Tx 1000 Wide Track

I guess the pict. of the 2 side by side was the demo? How many hours did you have on the old one. Was it traded in.? Does this one seem TOO heavy on softer lawn? Sometimes it is nice to not have to lay plyboard.

Only problem I had with mine was last fall it kept throwing a track. We put on new tracks for $1k. Problem solved. I think mine only has about 540 hrs.

My old one was a 2013 with 1650 hrs. I sold it outright, Toro didn't think it was worth much.

We have noticed that this machine does track worse on soft lawns, but I guess you have to have a trade-off somewhere.

I love it. What is the lift capacity of the old one compared to the new one with the grapple.?
Not sure I can give you a good comparison, because my 525 was counterweighted. I figured it was good for 1200 lbs comfortably, and could lift a couple hundred more.

I figure that the 1000 is good for 2000#, but don't have exact data.

Of course it makes a difference if you are going uphill or downhill.[emoji4]

That is what I was thinking and hoping. I have been so happy with the 525 and it has made me so much money but I think this is the best machine on the market in its class again now.

What sold you on the wide track?
I see the difference at 33.7" versus 41".

If the wide track is the way to go. I would consider then, also keeping my 900t for the fenced in/ gated back yards. It is often enough, that I'd be disappointed if I could not get into a back yard with the mini. We are the only tree service with a mini around here. It really sets us apart when we can work tight back yards with 36" gates and walk ways.

What did you get the grapple for? Local dealer is quoting $2700 delivered.

I got a price quote of $27,100 with bucket delivered for the narrow track delivered.
Gonna get a wide track quote soon.
Thanks

I guess I never even considered narrow track. Access is not a problem, as we rarely work in fenced areas. And we work on slopes on a regular basis, so i wanted the extra stability that the wide tracks give you.
Plus I believe that the narrow tracks would sooner make ruts...

The wide tracks make more sense for stability ( as I have tipped over our machine maybe 4 times now). Getting good at not doing it,but...
Tracks also facilitate flotation, so...

That's right...Fuck the lawns in their grass! Right?
Roycey I can change my mind at a whim, like the best of the women out there. I too have minions. They lay my glorious red carpeted plywood at my beck, sprinkled with rose pedals where ever me desires. Isn't it good to be king?

Not sure if all dealers have the same pricing, but mine was 28 grand with no attachments.

Wondered where you got this. My dealer wants $37,800. with a probably 500$ bucket. I have seen the list price for $29,8xx. plus on a equipment review site. I think this is a ripoff but who services it is I buy it far away.? Thanks for reply.

Again....your price WITH bucket and delivered...$27,100. With tax? With shipping, handling, putting it together?....my place wants $37,8xx plus. What's up? What are the alternatives?

Thanks.

Sourced at local Taylor Rental, buddy of mine owns it.
Prices do not include our 8% sales tax.

Originally they did make a mistake.
$27,100 is narrow delivered without bucket
Delivery here is $850 so $26,250 from msrp of $29,950

Wide track is around $28,600 delivered without bucket.
So just north of $30,000 with tax, delivery, no bucket.
I'm getting a final quote soon, as I'm probably ordering one in the next month.

I found all toro's attachments to be almost double what you can find elsewhere. Their buckets start over $500 and can go north of $1000 for just a bigger simple bucket. The grapple I was quoted for $2600 from toro actually lists for $3200. I found a similar ones just over $1000 delivered.

Amazing...so your guy is going to sell it to you for $2,850.00 less than msrp. My guy who I have bought 3 high dollar machines from is going to sell it to me for $8,000.00 over msrp. Boggling this kind of business. That is a difference of $10,800.00 isn't it? Crazy. I think I found another source.

Not to mention the MSRP is already around a 20% profit!

I just got (2 weeks ago) brand new dingo 1000 wide track with bucket and a toro grapple delivered (it's pretty local to me) for 32,500. That was out the door with everything. 0% financing for 42 months.
