new Morbark m12d-m12R

Looking to get a new morbark m12 d or r 12 inch chipper. i would go with the kubota diesel because it can be serviced easily in my area..cummins cat etc not so easy.

any one have any experience with these? all input appreciated.

we have a couple new morbarks, m12 and m15r and m18r. not sure about the 12 cause i never use it or see it, but the other two have had computer problems and hydraulic issues. we had the hydraulic tank fly off one new chipper on a main road at a 4 way intersection, which led to a recall on that machine.
that being said, if working, these machines are beasts. i use the m15r daily and it is great when not in the shop. it has a cat engine, but we had a 15 with a kubota motor and i thought its motor was better the the Cat.

these chippers are great, hopefully you will not have the technical problems we have had. they were all computer related problems for the most part.
