New husky pants

Has anybody seen these new chainsaw pants from Husqvarna?

They look like an answer to the Stihl Hi-Flex and other high performance chainsaw pants in Europe

Protective trousers Pro Tech 20, model ANew!
Our new protective trousers Pro Tech 20 are made in our new strong, ventilating material, 4-way RipStop stretch. The material is stretchable in all directions which provides high durability and freedom of movement. Reinforced in Aramid material on exposed areas. Lighter and more comfortable trousers due to reduced amount of layers of chainsaw protection. A ventilating lining in Spacermaterial on back of legs which transports the air from the body to the outside. Extra ventilation openings on back of legs. Two front pockets and two back pockets. The back pockets can also be opened for extra ventilation. EuroTest marking on legs to ensure the trousers are tested and meets the requirements for saw protection standards. For comfort and extra freedom of movement the waist trousers have been designed with a wide elasticized waist and a raised back. Practical rule pocket on the side of the leg. Meets requirements of: EN 381-5, EN 340 class 1, 20 m/s

i have a pair, they are ok, the cut doesnt fit me great. one thing i like about them is the zips that run down the back of the leg. on a hot day you can zip them open and its quite refreshing. but if you're buying chainsaw trousers there really is only one choice for me...stretch airs

Yes!! I saw them when I was in England in September. I really liked the ventilation zips on the back (and they were a nice colour!)They would be great for here in the sub tropics, only problem is I can't get them from my dealer as these trousers are not available to the US market which we are a part of!
I hesitate to order them from the UK as they were 125 pounds a pair and the dollar is almost 2:1 right now so thats like $250! Then add shipping and duty...$$$
Some day...

Stretch Airs are the best to be honest but they really have to make that stitching stronger in the zipper area that leads down to the crotch area. I have to stitch it up with parcel twine to them stronger it that part.

Yip you guys are getting hammerd by the pound at present, makes my trip to Richmond VA this new year more fun. Loads of money....

Why can't Husqvarna or Stihl make chainsaw pants in a lighter color? If they made summer khakki chaisaw protective pants, I'd get some.

I third that too! My Stihl hiflex are very nice but they're BLACK, I would definitely be more inclined to wear them in the summer if they were khaki. Anybody with some clout willing to send them a note?
