New England Ice Storm

I am interested in work as well. I am leaving this morning to go down and help my parents in Chelmsford, MA. I will also be looking at damage in Groton. If I can lock up some work I will bring equipment down mid week. If anyone knows of an "in" for us it would be appreciated. Although I know a lot of people & worked in that area for years. I'll see what I can come up with. I have all of the equipment, tools, and insurance necessary.

These guys are a good working crew. They know how to manage storm damage with something besides a basal cut.

You'll want to avoid my neighborhood, then... 'cuz basal cuts are going to abound. Right now, most of the trees look like phone poles, and the phone poles (the few that are left) are about 5 feet high.

Quite a few trees that were "preserved" instead of being removed are now down anyways... at the expense of houses and cars being smashed. Now the homeowners are stuck with yet another bill.

We are covering from Salem, NH, down 93 to Andover and across the NH/MA border to the coast.

Its pretty crazy! I just got in a little while ago. lil resi work, lots of muni work today.

Stay safe everyone!!
