Very Very nice crane. Just not enough work here For the amount of money we have in it. Thanks. Wade

Keep it, you'll find the work will come to the point you'll be turning some down. It just takes a little time.

Man, my sold 2 year old crane has spoiled me, its clean as a whistle still. The search continues.

Did you sell your 22101S? If you did go for a 30112S , 40124S or SHL. The 40 tonner is a very nice machine, but the 30 is a nice looking machine too(never been up close to one), about the same size as the 22 with a better chart.

Wade: As I recall that is a S. Arizona rig, right?? Thats something to brag about, no rust I bet.
I still have not decided to sell mine or not, I mean its mine free and clear, so to upgrade would take my spare change AND a loan. It has really spoiled me in the following ways:I get to sit on my , and I can go places without hanging the end up as it has minimal overhang. What I REALLY want is a brand new 30 ton Manitex, with the 112' of stick, plus jib, and the heated cab. That could go and fit anywhere my 22101S would, not be too much weight increase, and I really like the Manitex setup where I can walk off the operator seat, across the bed, and right into the cab. Handy, I also like the ladders: one on each side and if you forget to put one up and drive, no problem. They are also in "dead" space, above the wheels. The 30 ton National is still available, I was considering flying to the east coast to eyeball, then that nutjob set his shorts on fire, now it will be even a bigger pain in the !

beautiful equipment! as for the shackle, it is a absolute must for using two slings at a good angle. you don't want a strap pulling on the hook hasp, but if you use a shackle the weight will be pulling down a on the hook. but you don't need it for only one strap. great job lets see more!

Wade,

I know what you mean about there not being enough work to justify keeping a crane. We only did 40-50 removals this year with a crane this year. I don't own one, I sub out to a crane company, it actually works great for me, been working with the same operators for 7 years.

Good luck selling that beauty, hopefully it goes fast.
