do any of you think the SRT upgrade kit from wespur is worth the $200 they sell it for? http://www.wesspur.com/climbing-kits/srt-rope-climbing-upgrade.html

There are many threads in the archives about SRT systems. Taking a bit of time to go back and research and read the collected wisdom will help fill in many small nuances of each system.

Can anyone post simple SRT systems for the not so efficient guys like myself?

Also be sure to read the book "On Rope". It's the best book out there for SRT. Shows many different systems.

well i think im gonna purchase the SRT up grade from wespur. it has a CMI ascender, CMI pantin, technora cord for a prussik back up, 2 slings for a foot loop and to connect the upper ascender to the bridge and comes with 2 quick links all for $180 shipped to my doors in hawaii.

I'm not touching this with a 10 foot pole.

I'd, for real, tell you, go get a class a, and drive a truck you'll make the same and do it for 30 years.

By the way, the worst thing you could do in your life is listen to this donkey jerker's opinion, altissimus.

By the way how is that Stud jerkin biz on the side going for ya altissimus your mom said is was going good as I was ummmmmmmmm
