NEW!!! Advanced Wedge by TopSaw

Yeah Bix, but you are the exception to the rule. Real git' er done guys wouldn't be wearing fancy Proto helmets etc, they would be in cut off t-shirts and greasy jeans.

We are taking orders and they are going fast Deevo, we are looking to have some onsite at the EXPO as well.

Sumo, they work GREAT with smaller impact drivers - amazing how fast and efficient it drives the wedge.

Those type of guys are not buying gear except chainsaws anyway, no point in worrying about them. I like the concept!

wouldn't pop out of ur back cut as often id buy one too get it a go only concern would be after using it on sappy trees it would gum it up can you remove the screw for cleaning an how much is it

Brian, while the wedge is evidently tapered, it appears as if the screw isnt ? So at some point, perhaps a couple of inches in the kerf, the screw will start to loose purchase, on say, a big top that hasnt been stripped of limbs on the back side. What then ? Many times when one wedge hasnt created enough lift for me Ive finished the job with by stacking wedges no 2 and 3. I always carry 3 wedges up there for that reason. Thanks

Good point Reg, three wedges on hand and an axe should get those heavy back leaners over.
I never have found myself in the situation you mentioned, I'm not sure what I would do at that point.

Any decent tree-takedown specialist, knows when to spend time to eliminate back weight or install a pull rope to get the piece to go in their favor.

Remember, like with any new tool in your kit, it's best to find the limitations in non-critical situations. As you become more familiar with the tool and it's lifting capabilities, bringing it up into the tree may be your best option. Thanks.

That wasn't me in the vid talking Petes, that was Jonothan... I think that was South Lake. Yes beautiful, long term goal for me would be to expand out into that area... Thanks.

Be happy to try one out for you Brian, pass it around some of the circles that I work within....and send it right back there after. Lots of toppers and fallers out here.
