Is a 201 150 combo worth it over a 192(3)? I love my 201 for removals but its killing me on large prunes. The 150 seems like it will compliment my 201 but the 192(3) could give me the best of both worlds.

You really need to get the snelling mod!!! So worth the cash. Also, what do you guys think about removing the spark arrestor on the new saw? According to Brad Snelling, this saw is mint stock but I'm not sure if I should pop it out.

i run a 192 for everything i do, pruning to big TD's. that is only because i bought it slightly used for $110 and a heavily rigged on Pinto pulley. so for that kinda $ i will run into the ground before buying a new top handle.
But i would not invest in one as your "do all" saw, because it does not liking doing "it all". hard to rip thru cuts when you want to, takes a long time cutting thru 14"< wood, and it has plastic, almost imaginary, dogs

SO its been over a solid week now and this is a solid saw. It runs hard and fast through every cut. I am totally impressed with the way it adjusts through the cut and am still getting used to not squeezing the throttle on start. I'm happier with this saw than I had been with my first 201 that had the snelling mod. This saw rocks stock even with the spark arrestor still in.
