Nasty jobs

I'd be nervous running your crane. I'd rather be the climber. Thank's for the offer.
OK, well I’ll let you explain that one the next time we catch up. Sounds like you might have to drag brush if you don’t run the crane!!! LOL!

The job is done. Was a bit of work to get done in one day, but my team did what was necessary and we met our goals. Most of the stuff on the big tree needed to be drifted to get it away from the house.

I'm not surprised the high-quality team at Aspen has a 10 week back log but personally I'm not crazy about being that far out because it seems that often when you arrive at a job that's been on the books for 2.5 months, you find issues have cropped up like "oh we built a swing set under the tree to be removed", "oh our landscaper did part of the job", "oh there was a tree service working next door and they did it for less".

We're out about 6 weeks and that's plenty for us, a 3 man team.

I agree, but a good deal has to do with what the scale of the jobs are. I have a few that I could work on for well over a month. I think managing things in a seasonally appropriate way can also help project a schedule out over a year. That’s also a good way to know if you want to add another crew or start saying no to new work.
