Carving on thick barked trees. Why not? Some huge cottonwoods around here have at least 4" to safely carve into without damaging the cambium. Hmm... Now if only I could carve

Check out the Marton Oak on the Ancient Tree Forum gallery. Now there's a tree that never would've made it that far in North America. That would've been condemned as a hazard and cut down....
