I visited Lugano Switzerland this past summer, which I believe is by the Lake Como area. Your pictures looked pretty much like the same area that I visited.

Is this in the same area where you were removing the tree?

Hi sawmurai,great,you visited europe while me and my wife were visiting USA,really Luino,where we removed, is near by Switzerland but is not on Como lake,is on Maggiore;You right telling that is pretty similar landscape,the two lakes are not so far,infact I live near Como lake but i was on Maggiore lake for removals.

I hope you enjoyed your visit,next trip you could visit Como lake!

our region is call "7 LAKES" cause there is the most large important lake of Italy
the maggiore lake is for one part also in Swiss...Lugano has his lake...very nice
now lake of Como is very famous cause your fellow-countryman
George Clooney has a big beautiful house on it...
they are very beautiful place ...mountain over the lakes!!!
