Most Dangerous Trees to Climb

I don't care for many birch around here, which always seem to have huge basal cavities, large cavities and decay at the old topping cuts, and large dying-back sucker-leaders above those.

I also did a full removal on a cottonwood tree and I noticed how incredibly soft it was when I spiked it. Although I've heard a lot on the danger of it, I did not have any trouble with steering with my hinge wood, and the top came down surprisingly easy.

It depends on the girth of the wood that you're cutting and how laterally it grows, but yeah I've never had much problem with it
