More views of SRS lanyard implementations with C. Hook and short lanyard

Hey, look ma, no carabiner choking and no dangerous "open anchor Hook use"! When I have my Hook on my harness, I can find plenty for it to do. Meanwhile, trying to use my bow shackle lanyard end more for SRS lanyard chokes despite a carabiner choke being so quick to set up ;-) And a simple rigging technique putting a bight around the spar and capturing with a steel biner. It's better for heavier wood than what I rigged but it was fine, a simple method that means I'm not carrying a small porty or getting more involved setting up friction. I should get a Rig N' Wrench for these situations, haven't got around to it.

I've had my Hitch Hiker 2 on my lanyard this season. It's heavy and will eventually be replaced with something lighter but man is it handy for setting up a secondary SRT system. I need another Akimbo!

Looking more closely at the Schizl it’s probably what i’ll build my wrench/hitch system on next for my 9mm line Hook/lanyard. Tends the correct direction (down) out of the box without a swivel. I can make things a little complicated, it’s fun trying, get there eventually.

I have the sticht hitch on one of my lanyards for choked scenarios but lately it has a bit of creep. I need to re-tie it.
you have a sorta shackle wrench thing set up there?

Yes. The Schizzl word work equally well if not better than the shackle but the wrench tether would have to be sewed directly on to it.
