More underwear questions - this time for GUYS

I would have never considered switching from my 100% cotton undies, until now...

It makes sense to go synthetic on the underpants. I'll have to take a trip to Walley world to see how reasonable they are on prices. I couldn't afford to pay over $25 dollars each on undies. I'd need at least 5 pair for the work week, and that is just too much for me...

So, this is what I have gathered from this thread:

We"ve got compression underwear.

And we got stuff so loose, a man is bound to loose something.

I don't like to have my man parts in my stomach, but I also don't like them to be down to my knees...

Is there product that would be the best of both worlds?

Yes. Compression shorts. I'm telling you, they are like boxer briefs but longer. I'm a big fan and won't consider wearing boxers again.... Unless of course I forgot to do laundry.

I agree with FT here, (I still got EZ's back in the fight though), The compression shorts from UA are great. Although I do feel a bit, well...ahhh, compressed at the end of the day. I prefer the UA heatgear boxers, not quite as compressing and still keeps things in place. Alittle cooler too i think.

Underarmor is the ticket. I wear the unders and the tshirts. I am dry by the end of lunch and ready to sweat again. The only cotton I wear is my sox. The Arborwear tech pants are great on top of the underarmor. Everything costs more but you get what you pay for. If you sweat like I do you're willing to spend the $$

Kohls has nice synthetics in all sorts of fancy colors. they are made by sonoma in the life + style line.
lay tight to skin, dry fast, room for the boys good tick protection... well more so than boxers.

Guys? I honestly do not know how anyone can wear synthetic!! I have tried them and the make me sweat and smell VERY manly!! Hate Em! Of course when it comes to sweating I am a freak of nature and sweat like 3x the "normal " human being, so it might just be me!!

I went to the local sports supply place and checked out the heat gear underwear. I almost bought a pair, but they only had the little boy-short kind. I prefer briefs, myself.

Gonna have to head to underarmor.com to see if they even make any.

The fabric seemed good...

Guys, be sure to not over "compress", that can have a negative impact on future tree junkies...

I truly believe kids are overrated.
