You must not have truck checks were you work. I would never dream of running my crane loaded like that on the highways here in Pa. That load would lighten my wallet up $400+ in fines, Unsecured load, etc. etc.

we have a dot station a mile from my shop. I just know how to drive around. I wish I were in PA... If I got caugt here it would be about $2500

yes it was hooked up to it.

It's not so easy to drive around them in the Phila. area. They have roving truck inspections that set up in parking lots, sides of roads, etc. You never know when or were they are, they are done by local municipal police that sometime have motor carrier enforcement officers with them. With that load on your truck they would red flag your truck, write citations, and not let you move it till the load was proper.
