Monster Tree in Raleigh Durham Hiring.

We are looking for: One experienced residential tree climber. Please be drug and preferably alcohol controlled. At least one year of climbing daily is prerequisite.
One climber who is trying to get out of big trees and do more rope work and supervise, motivate and train ground crew. Maybe a couple smaller trees from time to time if we are on big jobs.
Message me here and I will be able to answer whatever questions you may have.

so, what was the question? are they big trees or small? do I need to be 'controlled' by drugs or be 'in control' of drugs and booze as in "just don't spill that beer!" sry-too hot down there for me anyway

Its a franchise alright...one in our neck of the woods has hardly any equipment and spent 3 days on a job that most of us around here wouldnve had done in half a day or less.

I saw one start up/hiring in cleveland but haven't seen or heard of them since. I'm sorry but the website is a joke claiming no experience required to start your own tree service.

I guess I just don't get that concept - buy a franchise for a tree service? Aren't franchises for like fast food and gas stations? There's a new Monster up here too asking for help, think I'll offer some training days first then see who/what they are.

Don't worry Don we're not bashing you personally, just confused about the whole Monster Tree franchise business. Do you own a piece of this? or just the skilled guy they got to come be the foreman?

I am sincerely interested in how it's going for you because evidently they want ME now and I just need to know if I should develop the relationship or run away and never look back.

Just to clarify I have nothing to do with monster tree. Based on what I read, I wouldn't walk away- I would run!

What are you willing to pay

Wow! That was probably the most unprofessional series of posts I have ever seen. If you do not know how a franchise works, then do not bash. The individual owner of this particular franchise drags twice the brush most people I've ever met and tries his best daily. The employee turnover here is brutal because of well, stupid. I was hired as a trainer/climber and am the only person with any experience in tree work. Our sales rep is from Florida and had his own thing for awhile. Moved because of the schools. Different franchises are completely separate. We have little to no relationship with the one in pa that flipped cranes. That was my own personal hesitation. Done.

This isn't the Philadelphia franchise. If you would like to come look at our particular operation, you are welcome to, but until you have seen us work and how we run this particular franchise, please refrain from judgment. I need help here and wasn't expecting such a slap in the face from a site I thought would be a little more courteous than that. We are starting up and our own website isn't up yet. We have incredible reviews so far and our sales are incredible. We completed over 60k in work last month. I'll Not allow this franchise to be monster of philly. My number one goal is safety. I don't allow any drug use and I mean controlled drinking as in don't show up smelling like a brewery. Do not bunch me in with the northern yahoos. We are not them. Period.

I do not own any of this. I just saw an opportunity to make something from the ground up. No Pun. It's been rough trying to work around the reputation that the guys in philly have earned. I have fired at least 10 guys who showed go resumes and started hammering away at trees. I don't want that here. I want to do tree Care. It's just difficult to find quality help here.
