Mini skid mulchers ?

Who’s running one? The Fecon style not the brush hog type. Likes dislikes. I’m thinking I want to add one to the lineup and looking for some insight.

I tried to demo a eterra flail mower. The unit had some problems so it wouldn’t even run on my Vermeer. I’ve heard good things about them and I am chalking up my experience as a fluke

I was looking at a fixed tooth mulcher. But I have looked at the Eterra mower. Seems to be a stout unit.

Which one? Eterra are proud of their units as reflected in the price

Around here there’s not much money and considerably less profit in retail mulching.

I can’t imagine that gets better with a smaller machine. Safety is a bit of a concern to, mainly flying debris and insects.

The only mulcher I have is a FMX36 for my Yanmar SV100. It rarely gets used but it’s handy to have.

A state park has mentioned the possibility of mulching trails in the future… if that comes to pass for me I’ll just rent a machine for the project and be done with it.

I've got a Maschio Birba 150 for the tractor (Yanmar 425). It's impressive for what it is. It's not a huge money maker, but for our clientele it's a nice offering that leads to more work. I.e invasive management, plot improvement, etc.

We've got an avant branded mulcher for the 755i too. It's a sweet unit.
