Mini platform in front of truck

I bought my truck about 6 years ago and started to have it assembled. Behind the cab is a great set up. Mine is a full sized (12'x6') chipbox with an L pack toolbox. Next is a 4' platform (spring assisted attached ramps) followed by a custom mat rack. The only down sides i have found are:
1. Limits the size of the mini that will fit (SK800 is as big as will fit).
2. By the time you add up all the components it has to be on a 33k GVW to not be over weight. Must have a CDL driver.
3. Finding someone solid to do the assembly work.
Nice set up , stout back up stopper GOOD THING, the BMG looks precarious - butt hell you don't have to take it off

My truck (dave already posted a pic of it) is under CDL. My box is 18ish yards (6h x 8w x 12l minus internal tool boxes). Fully loaded with my Giant 254 and grapple and tools I'm right there at GVWR, but not over it.

I also had to make a little bracket to hold my grapple that I have to take on and off every time I move my loader because it's too long for the sideways platform. Kind of a pain, but not the end of the world. Still need to build tool boxes for the cutouts in the front of the chip box.

Gotcha. You’re correct that if a trailer is under 10,000 pounds and the truck gvw is under 26,001 then the trailer weight is not added to the truck.
