As you say Rob, noise / noise ordinances can be an issue. We just did a building clearance for a commercial building. A repeat touch-up customer. No power tools during hours in which people might be getting massages, tattoos, or dental work.
I can imagine that a chainsaw or blower would through off any of their concentrations, to the customer's dismain. Kinda like us working with a yipping or barking neighbor dog. Hard to relax and focus.
For a small pruning job without a chipper (trailer or dispose on site), I think that it could be a good thing on occasion. A lot of weekend events (we have lots in the summer in Olympia) and other people's weekend schedules could make it inconvenient.
Jamin-
Do you aim for four 10-hour days or four 8-hour days, now.
I try for 4 10's, m-th, as light allows, and projects dictate. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday can all end up with bids/ consultations, but I like to keep it to one of those days.
