Is there a typo on the results for the utility masters? Even with Rich timing out his point total is higher and should be sufficient for second. Right?
 
Tyler - Rich Ellison Timed out and DQ'd - they let him continue his run for practice! He DQ'd in beginning, but they let him run through the challenge for practice and continued to score him for practice. Then he timed out in the last of it. They continued to score him as a courtesy. I will ask Vince what the DQ was for!
 
Rich - There was a misunderstanding between Head Judge and Scorekeeper - you will be receiving your Second Place MTCC Utility Arborist Master's Challenge Award/trophy!

Thanks to Tyler Roehler - we discovered what happened!! Congratulations and so sorry for the misunderstanding.

Your run was a fantastic climb and you are well deserving of the KUDOS!!!! I will contact you as soon as your trophy arrives.

First Place - Neil Haarer with 183.5 points
Second Place - Rich Ellison 156.5 points
Third/Second Palce - Jacob Hasson 127.25 points

All of you did a super job!! Congratulations on being the first ASM - Michigan Tree Climbing Utility Arborist Champions!!!

I also want to thank Vince Kowalski for setting up a creative and challenging Utility Arborist Master's Challenge.

It was a great opportunity to participate in the very first Utility Arborist Challenge.
