Michigan TCC - HELP!!

Saturday - August 21, 2010 - <font color="purple"> </font> Yes! Michigan Tree Climbing Championship would appreciate all help. Last year was great and we are sending out a huge Thank You to everyone who volunteered their time. All Climbers, Judges, Techs, and Runners welcome! Contact Nancy Carpenter at ASM (517-337-4999) or Dawn Thierbach at Victorian Gardens (810-338-6531). The Date is SATURDAY, AUGUST 21, 2010. Set up is AUGUST 20, 2010. Location - Oakland Community College, Rochester, Michigan!!

COUNT ME IN! I wouldn't miss that event for the world. Sounds like this year's event is a full month earlier. We really need a coordinator of all U.S. events to stagger them and to start a volunteer list. Anyway, if there's anything your chapter can do for out of state volunteers please let us know. You may be able to afford just something small like breakfast on the day of set up but it goes a LONG way. I know this event is going to be a huge success because it already has something VERY unique to it but...I can't tell you what it is. All I can say is I'll be honored to be there and this one will likely go down in the "Jamboree" and TCC history books. More later, Whiz

Yes, that's a great suggestion.

Helping out of state volunteers by getting rooms will get the host Chapters more volunteers.
 
I threw my name into the volunteer bucket yesterday.
(Sent e-mail to Nancy).

I throughly agree w/ Whiz &amp; Norm; but I'll be there in any case.

Thank you Norm!! Any event you particularily want to work on. Let me know!! <font color="purple"> </font>I am writing down all the suggestions, hopefully I will be able to meet them. Thanks - I appreciate all the help I can get.
 
Sweet how things are actually starting to begin to line up! Can't wait to see people like one of our personal favorites, the "Whiz". Should be a GREAT year!

I am working diligently on getting food for setup day - breakfast, snack and lunch. Think I might have that covered. Also working on a very reduced rate for all you out of town volunteers......keep your fingers crossed, say your prayers or whatever is appropriate - economy is tough out there and I am pressing on for all of you volunteers. Thanks again for all your help. Next year the footlocking crew from Michigan will return the favor for the other State competitions. We owe all of you a big round of applause!!
