A couple of years ago I chaperoned the MN SSA crew to a Shigo workshop. On the way we stopped in Boston and Salem MA. When I was in Salem I saw this building.

Tom, did you notice the quality of tree care went up as you entered that area?

The pics that I have at the Nathaniel museum, House of Seven Gables are too dark to post. They had a basswood that scared me right over the courtyard out the door from the gift shop. Other than that, I don't remember noticing any of the treework being any better or worse than what I see anywhere. Why, should I have noticed?

That area is far more understanding of tree care vs just remove it, in general. Tracking PHS sales vs removals makes for an interesting map.
