I like the rifled wedges. I know I know they are not that great as a true wedge but they can be driven parallel to the hinge for max lift on skinny trees. But pulling skinny trees with a throw ball is real easy.

I have been in situations where there are a bunch of skinny trees that need down now, and pulling them is too tedious. Like recently in the brushy burn, or a while back doing fire mitigation. I have been meaning to try a euro style felling bar/lever.
