Mechanical for hook line?

I would say yes. I can get it to release (with my weight) by simply grasping the whole device in my hand, and twisting/pulling it clockwise on rope. However even finer release can be obtained by holding the bottom arm down , and allowing the top arm to remain fully engaged, while feathering the middle arm down.

Sir Gordon, we are on a quest for the Holy Grail. Canst thou deliver?

If that’s not the Knights of the TreeBuzz I don’t know what is. Notice all that proper PPE, exemplary! Although I have to point out that dresses (those are dresses right?) snag easily and let a lot of chips get into the undies!

Feeling very secure with three tie-ins, one of which is the mini-bone on 9mm line for my hook setup. Very helpful for navigating this failed union that is trying to split back into the larger limb of this very large Mulberry. These two are cabled together but still move alot when limbwalking on them. Removing some weight and growth that is encroaching on power lines along the alley. My main line is in a different leader much higher up and separate from the split area. My lanyard plus hook line made moving precisely and safely fun instead of nerve-wracking. Mini bone worked great, especially when there is more weight on it.

I always wondered when/if three rope wrenches would be tried. Any plans for four? Splitting up the load could really lighten the construction of each wrench. :) Maybe instead of zk1 style construction one could go back to wood style with holes thru formed billet. :)

I still have my ash wood wrench, it’s hidden so thieves can’t get at it! Valuable piece of gear!
