I'm looking at a rear mount over center 60'wh altec am855 with material handler. Seems like a great boom.
The load chart for jib capacity varies based on boom angles. Not sure exactly what this one maxes at, but most are 1000-2000lbs up at high angles high and down to 300lb at horizontal
The few I've spoken to who use/have material handlers swear by them, especially with some one climbing/cutting in the tree.
Why would they not be more common for tree work, if they are so great?
